Polypodium vulgare, commonly known as common polypodium, is a hardy evergreen fern. This fern features leathery, lance-shaped fronds that grow in a rosette pattern, with each frond reaching up to 30 cm in length. Surviving well in dry shade, this adaptable fern is perfect for growing in light, well drained soils. Great for shaded rocky, small spaces and woodland style gardens. Will colonise rocks, walls & trees if area is moist enough.
