Geranium phaeum also called dusky-crane’s bill has lovely dark maroon coloured flowers with a white centre. Flowering profusely from spring through to early summer, this variety is a great addition to the borders giving great groundcover, a long season of colour and is loved by bees and other pollinating insects. It thrives in both full sun and light shade in moist, well drained soil.
