Dryopteris wallichiana, commonly known as the Wallich's wood fern, is a deciduous variety. It features green fronds with a striking dark mid rib that can reach lengths of up to 90cm. This fern thrives in partial to full shade and well-draining, moist soil, making it an excellent addition to shaded garden areas or woodland settings.This was one of the gorgeous plants featured in the show garden 'Woodland Fall' at Gardeners World Live, Birmingham NEC.
